Join us for the annual Halloween party at the Living Coast on Saturday, October 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Enjoy the eerie autumn ambiance with fun-filled activities, including creepy crawler encounters, and thrilling animal interactions. Sit for spine-chilling tales and treat yourself to various activities for all family members. Get ready for an evening of tricks, treats, and more at our after-hours Halloween bash.

    Throughout the evening, you’ll get to meet some of the faces of the Living Coast, like our snakes, birds, lizards, and more!

  • Arts & Crafts
    Make your own Día de Muertos creations.


  • Creepy Crawly Room
    Interact with creepy crawly creatures and learn about their unique adaptations with our friends from Zovargo!

  • Mad Scientist Lab
    Unlock your inner mad scientist by conducting spooky dry ice experiments hosted by Science Guys of San Diego.

  • Spooky Tales of Chula Vista
    San Diego Storytellers will join us to share spooky stories on the marsh at night! This is only for those brave enough to venture out in the dark!

  • Día de los Muerto Story Time
    Learn about the meaning and traditions of día de los muertos and enjoy some delicious pan de muerto.
