Pepper Park Clean-Up

Join us for a Team Up to Clean Up event at Pepper Park and help us protect and care for our coastal environment! Participants will pick up trash throughout the park and around the National City Boat Launch, try to spot wildlife near the Sweetwater Channel, and learn how to make a difference by keeping our parks and waterways clean!
This cleanup is in partnership with Ocean Connectors, which will run a kayaking cleanup during the event. To sign up for the kayak clean-up, please go to their website here: oceanconnectors.org

Meeting Location: Pepper Park is at 3299 Tidelands Ave., National City, CA 91950. We will meet on the grassy area next to the Pepper Park parking lot, near the restrooms and boat launching ramp. See the map below! Look for the Living Coast Canopy!
Driving directions: Take the Bay Marina Dr. (Mile of Cars Way) exit in National City and head west. At the stoplight, turn left onto Marina Way. Follow Marina Way until it turns into W 32 St., then turn left onto Tidelands Ave. Parking is available in the parking lot next to Pepper Park.
Suggested parking: Parking is available at the Pepper Park Parking Lot.
Restrooms and Water: Park restrooms are available at this location.
Program Supplies: Buckets, trash bags, gloves, safety vests, and grabbers will be provided. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothes, closed-toed shoes, and sun/bug protection!
