Thanks for your interest in joining us for our Trail to Bay Challenge hike at the Sweetwater Park Trail.

Program Description: Join us as we explore the Sweetwater Park Trail! Located in Bonita, this equestrian trail showcases a unique habitat with a mix of native and non-native plant species. In addition to learning about plant adaptations, expect a mix of sunny and shady areas and traces of 
native wildlife! 

Trailhead/Meeting Location: We will be meeting at the Sweetwater Park Trail, Bonita, CA 91902 off of Bonita Rd. (see map below). 

Driving Directions: CA 94 E to I 805 S. Take exit 7C onto E St., continuing to Bonita Rd. E. Make a U-turn onto Bonita Rd. W to turn into the parking lot.
 
Suggested Parking: There is a parking lot attached to the trailhead near the corner of Bonita Rd. and Plaza Bonita Rd., which is only accessible from the westbound side of Bonita Rd. 
 
Restrooms and Water: There are no restrooms or water stations at this location, please plan accordingly! The closest restroom is in the small shopping center across the street from the trailhead parking lot at 3041-47 Bonita Rd, Chula Vista, CA 91910 

Program Time(s): 9:00am – 11:00am 

Hike Length: About 2 miles of out and back trail 

Trail Difficulty: This trail is listed as an easy hike. The trail consists of a wide, flat dirt path that is accessible for strollers and guests of all ages. 
 
Recommended Gear: Water, sunscreen/hat, bug repellent, and walking shoes with proper support.
